This is really cool: Rangers left fielder Josh Hamilton has been battling drug and alcohol addiction and planned to avoid the locker room celebration as Texas reached its first ever ALCS. However, his teammates decided to substitue the usual use of champagne with ginger ale so that he could celebrate with them.

this story reminds me so much of my awesome team. this past weekend one of our derby girls held a party for a few teammate’s birthdays. she knows that i don’t drink anymore, and being the amazingly kind woman she is, she made me redbull jello shots so i could partake in the fun. nice people are my favorite.

Gotta love this, and my Rangers! Sad turn of events last night in New York, but I’m hopeful for Friday night in Arlington.
